A great web site fits in with all your other “offline” marketing materials (business cards, letterhead, brochures, etc.). It presents your business to potential customers online, reinforcing and extending all your messages. Sure, you want your site to look good, but don’t forget about ease of use. If people can’t find the information they’re looking for, they will get frustrated and go somewhere else.
